BRENHAM, Texas, November 17, 2023 – Blue Bell Creameries is excited to announce it will be expanding its distribution area to include St. Louis and the surrounding cities beginning on March 18, 2024.<\/p>\n
\u201cConsumers have contacted us through letters, phone calls, email and social media asking when Blue Bell will be available in St. Louis,\u201d said Jimmy Lawhorn, Blue Bell vice president, sales & marketing. \u201cWe are happy to say Blue Bell is on the way! We will offer our full product lineup. More information will be shared as we get closer to the opening date.\u201d<\/p>\n
Blue Bell is building a 16,000 sq. ft. distribution facility at 11400 Spencer Road in St. Peters, Missouri. No products will be produced on site. However, the location will include a cold storage room to house all of the delicious frozen treats. Blue Bell utilizes direct store delivery, which means no one other than a Blue Bell employee handles the product from the time it is made until it reaches the store.<\/p>\n
No store locations have been released, but ice cream fans can expect to find Blue Bell at most major supermarkets and drug stores across the St. Louis area.<\/p>\n
In addition to the St. Louis metro area, consumers living in Columbia, Jefferson City, central Missouri and parts of southern Illinois will be able to purchase Blue Bell at their local stores.<\/p>\n
The company will begin hiring for several positions in early 2024 that include territory managers, route supervisors, route sales representatives, office manager, office clerk, shipping manager, shipping clerks and merchandisers.<\/p>\n
Blue Bell Ice Cream is headquartered in Brenham, Texas, and all products are made at its three manufacturing facilities located in Texas, Oklahoma and Alabama. The 116-year-old company has quite a fanbase despite its products being sold in only 23 states.<\/p>\n
